The hams bearing this designation are among the best hams in the world. They come from purebred Iberian pigs "pata negra" and fed on acorns (bellota) which they find in the "dehesa", stony meadows planted with oaks in which they live freely. This diet guarantees them thick and tasty fat, characteristic of 100% Ibérico Bellota ham, with a delicious nutty flavor.
