Salers AOP raw milk ±1.2kg

Salers is a name for a French cheese made from raw cow's milk with an uncooked pressed paste from the Cantal department.

It is a firm cheese with a dry, thick, bloomy rind.

Its fat content is at least 44%.

It comes in the form of a cylinder of variable dimensions, from 38 to 48 cm in diameter, weighing from 35 to 55 kilograms.

It is identified by a red plaque and by an imprint engraved in hollow on one of the faces of the Salers-Salers cheese.
