Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine ash AOP with raw milk - 250g

The Sainte-Maure de Touraine is pierced with a straw in its center, along its entire length.

This rod is used to hold the cheese and prevent it from breaking. The PDO requires the introduction of a pyrographed rye straw in the center of the cheese after it is removed from the mold.

It includes the producer's identification number and the name of the cheese. Like many goat cheeses, Sainte-Maure can be enjoyed plain or gratinated on bread.
