Premium wild salmon roe from Alaska’s remote, pristine waters is sustainably harvested and free of human activity. Their natural cold-water diet gives them superior quality and taste. Alaska’s fisheries are carefully managed and protected to prevent overfishing, habitat degradation and pollution.
From May to October, salmon are caught using a variety of fishing methods, such as hand-line and seine nets, before returning to their home rivers. Alaska cod are also caught using mid-water trawls at specific times of the year by small fishing vessels.
The most accessible of fish eggs, salmon eggs are characterized by a bright translucent orange color, a good size, and by their round shape which rolls on the tongue before bursting and releasing their fresh, iodized and delicate taste.
