It was in 1966 that Petula Garcia, a rich Brazilian heiress, inherited a forest house in the heart of the Luberon massif, this house was called Marrenon. Over time, she brought together the winegrowers and asked them to bottle a vintage that she signed Marrenon. Since then, Marrenon has brought together 1,200 winegrowers and has 4,000 ha. More than ten vintages have been rewarded for their quality. A cooperative whose leitmotif is truly the pleasure of passing on a passion.
Made from 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache Noir grape varieties, this high-altitude local wine is raised on selected clay-limestone hillsides at the foot of the Luberon massif. Its very light pink, slightly salmon color reveals a fine nose and delicious notes of redcurrants. Its attack is frank, followed by notes of small red fruits, with a slightly spicy finish. Served chilled (8-12°C), it is an ideal accompaniment to gourmet salads and summer grills. This wine won the gold medal at the 2015 Concours Général Agricole.
