Smoked herring fillets - mild - Label Rouge - 200g or 1kg

In Boulogne-sur-Mer, between November and December, during the traditional “herring season”, fishermen go in search of it as it travels along the Opal Coast during its annual migration.

In one night, Boulogne fishermen can thus bring up several tonnes of herring in their nets, within the strict limits of regulatory quotas, the fishery being MSC certified.

A few hours later, the coastal herring is salted and then carefully preserved at the JC David establishments to be carefully prepared.
