Fenugreek seeds - 250g

Fenugreek is a plant with a powerful, slightly bitter and astringent flavor, which can be reminiscent of celery. It must be dosed with caution. Its seeds, which are very hard, must be roasted, crushed, cooked or soaked before being used.

Very present in Indian cuisine and in Middle Eastern cuisines, Fenugreek seeds go very well with lentils and enhance the taste of vegetable dishes as well as stews.

Fenugreek powder is also part of the composition of certain curry mixtures and can be used to flavor pastries, particularly oriental ones.
