Cumin seeds

While cumin seeds resemble caraway seeds, their taste is quite different. More aniseed-flavored and revealing warm, heavy, and slightly bitter aromas, cumin is widely used in the cuisines of India, North Africa, and Mexico. Cumin's strong flavors pair well with carrots, pears, or beets.

Lightly ground to give maximum flavor, its seeds also go perfectly with lamb.
