Black cardamom from Sapa Vietnam - 100g

Very different from green cardamom which is more camphorous, this black cardamom grows on the rice paddies of Sapa, in the northwest of Vietnam. A true bouquet of aromas of ginger, lemongrass and Asian flavors with smoky notes on its own, it is the basis of the North Vietnamese pho broth.
