Bâtard-Montrachet Grand cru Clos Poirier L.Latour - 75cl

The Batard-Montrachet vineyard is located between the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, known for producing some of the world's finest white wines. The 11.86 hectare vineyard is separated from Montrachet by a narrow strip of land. This east-facing hillside is composed of very gravelly soil on a clay base, renowned for its expression of Chardonnay fruit. "Le Clos Poirier" is located in the heart of Batard-Montrachet, just below Montrachet. It consists of a single plot of 85 ares and is easily recognizable due to its unique North-South orientation, rather than the typical East-West orientation. 43 ares of the plot are currently cultivated on the East side.
