Yka Leaves® is the brand name used by Koppert Cress for an edible leaf. Yka Leaves are characterized by a pronounced acidic taste with a slightly sweet note.

With their deep purple color and light purple design, these leaves have great decorative value. Yka Leaves go wonderfully with lobster, scallops or shellfish. But their flavor is also fully revealed in vegetable dishes, for example based on beets, carrots or root vegetables. These leaves go perfectly with smoked or grilled vegetables, fish and meats.

Yka Leaves are native to South America, particularly Brazil where they grow in large numbers in the wild. Yka Leaves are part of a large family: over 900 different varieties are in fact listed.

Yka Leaves are available all year round and can be stored for up to seven days. The storage temperature of this product is between 2 and 7°C.
