A quintessential Périgord cheese, Trappe Echourgnac is a cheese made by the nuns of Echourgnac Abbey.

It is a soft, creamy, melting cheese that can be enjoyed both cold and hot in the kitchen. The special feature of this cheese is that it is matured with walnut liqueur, which comes from the Distillerie du Périgord in Sarlat.

This gives it a powerful, very original aroma, and all the easier to combine with our local cuisine.
