This spicy dried sausage is made from selected meat from heavy Italian pigs, born, raised and slaughtered in Italy. An ancient traditional recipe is used to salt and flavor the dough, adding chilli pepper for a spicy taste. The product is then stuffed into a synthetic casing and seasoned in carefully ventilated rooms at predetermined temperatures. The slow seasoning process gives the dried sausage a soft consistency, a red-orange color with a defined alternation of pearly white fat, an intense aroma and a spicy flavor. This spicy dried sausage is perfect when cut into thin slices as a starter, or to add a touch of deliciousness and flavor to your dishes, such as pasta sauces, pizzas, salads or sandwiches...
