The Bourgeois Family has been in love with Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc since the 11th generation. The estate extends over 72 hectares in the best Terroir appellations of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Developed by Henri Bourgeois more than 50 years ago, the vineyard extends over the most rugged hillsides, offering the best exposure in the Loire Valley. After having cultivated two hectares on the slopes of Chavignol, Henri took the bold gamble, in the 1950s, of developing his vineyard in a still unknown territory. His sons, Jean-Marie and Rémi, joined him in the 1960s and continued the adventure. They discovered new terroirs, bought land, developed partnerships with other Sancerre families, and became the No. 1 ambassadors of Sancerre in France, then abroad.

Today, Arnaud, Lionel and Jean-Christophe Bourgeois are as much the heirs of these men as the initiators of the future of the vines and wines of the house. Although the family always strives to perfect their craft, they remain committed to Henri's original winemaking vision of showcasing the purity of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes and the unique terroirs of Sancerre.

The Bourgeois Family has received numerous accolades over the years from the press and public for all of their wines, ranging from their deliciously fresh and wine-friendly Petit Bourgeois "bébé Sancerre" wines to their age-worthy, wine-focused Sancerre & Pouilly-Fumé. terroir. vintages.
