The characteristics of the Régnié cru are: A ruby color, aromas of small red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant, etc.) and wild black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, etc.), with a spicy note and a mineral touch; the tannins are fine, it is a supple and fleshy wine. It is drunk from May, and can be kept for 2 to 10 years depending on the vintage. It is drunk chilled (at 14-15°), from starter to dessert of a meal.
