Refrigerated Granny Smith Green Apple Puree - 1kg

Maison Ponthier specifically chose a Granny Smith apple grown at an altitude of 400m at the foot of Mont d'Or. Indeed, the terroir of low-Alpine soils, deep and fertile, offers alluvial and colluvium qualities ideal for fruit growing. Not sensitive to the cold but sensitive to extreme cold, the apple tree needs a winter period but fears spring frosts. The sunny climate of the south-east of France gives the Granny Smith apple its tangy, juicy and fragrant character. We recognize Granny Smith de Haute Provence by its very tonic character: firm, crunchy and acidic flesh, thick, smooth and shiny skin, without dark spots, bright green in color. PONTHIER puree wonderfully restores the texture of the fruit, its sweet and sour flavor with citrus flavors and its vegetal aromas.

INGREDIENTS: Green apples (90%), Pure cane sugar, antioxidant: ascorbic acid, acidifier: citric acid, nettle extract.
