Smoked black pepper from Tellicherry - 180g

Tellicherry pepper is native to the Malabar region on the west coast of India. Just like Malabar pepper or even Kampot black pepper, it is a cultivar of Piper nigrum, the species which is at the origin of the best-known round peppers and which are the only ones capable of carrying the pepper name without other mention.

It is also, with Malabar pepper, one of the first cultivated peppers, the Indians having first domesticated pepper and developed its cultivation. This version has the particularity of being smoked with beech wood, and thus presents a woody flavor, powerful and subtle at the same time.

We also find the pronounced citrus notes, characteristic of this exceptional product, evoking both lemon and grapefruit.
