Belem black pepper - 160g

Belem black pepper, also known as Brazilian or Bahian pepper, is a rare and exotic spice from Indonesia, then established in Brazil, which has produced it since 1930, in the Amazonian regions of Para, Bahia and Esperito.

This Belém pepper is unique because of its complex aroma and intense flavor.

Woody and suave notes, slightly lemony with a hint of licorice, coriander and anise reveal a unique, remarkably subtle taste.

It is particularly suitable for grilled, roasted, sauced or marinated red meats.

It also accompanies vegetables, and boldly, chocolate and fruity desserts for a touch of originality.

It is used crushed in a mortar or ground in a mill, before serving or at the end of cooking, to avoid developing bitterness.
