Pla del Rei Château La Casenove red 2000 - 75cl

Wine: The Côtes du Roussillon Pla del Rei red 2000 from Domaine la Casenove is an extraordinary vintage! The very low yields made it possible to produce a wine of incredible concentration. Its dark, almost black color introduces us into a world of extreme aromatic intensity of cooked plums, cocoa and spices. The luxurious woodiness is completely melted and patinated, it lacquers the mouth with a sublime tone. It is a cuvée with a strong presence which seduces with its length and amplitude and which impresses with its density, its pulp and its elegance. Enjoy it quickly, these are the last bottles.

Vinification: Manual harvest, traditional vinification, regular pumping over, aging of 50% of the wine in new oak barrels and the other half in vats for 2 years.

Color: Dark, almost black color.

Nose: Magnificent nose of complexity, aromas of cooked plums, licorice and cocoa, slightly smoky.

Mouth: Dense and concentrated attack, extraordinary volume, luxurious woodiness beautifully patinates the rich and aromatic palate, long and powerful finish.
