Harvested in the Turin region of northwest Italy, Piedmont hazelnuts are PGI certified, a guarantee of excellence. Nicknamed "tonda e gentile" for their round shape and sweetness, they are distinguished by their intense and perfectly balanced flavor. Light roasting intensifies their aromas and gives them a unique crunchy texture. Ideal for eating, they also enhance pastries, chocolates, and fish or meat dishes thanks to their delicate shards. The roasted PARIANI hazelnut, typical of this Alpine region, offers a slightly smoky flavor and a longer shelf life thanks to its richness in essential oils.
