Señorío de Montanera, producer of the famous Iberian bellota hams, is part of a collective of breeders who adhere to the strict standards of the PDO “Dehesa de Extremadura” certification.

The hams that bear this prestigious label are among the best in the world, coming from purebred “pata negra” pigs that are fed on acorns (bellota) found in the “dehesa”, rocky meadows dotted with oaks where they roam freely.

Made from the upper shoulder, it is the noblest and juiciest piece of acorn-fed Iberian pork.

Lomito, tastier than lomo, is considered one of the best Iberian products.
