Señorío de Montanera, renowned for its acorn-fed Iberian hams, is part of a group of breeders who adhere to the rigorous requirements of the Protected Designation of Origin "Dehesa de Extremadura." These exceptional hams come from "pata negra" pigs fed on acorns in the typical dehesa pastures, where they roam freely. Obtained from the upper shoulder, this lomito represents the most refined and juicy cut of the acorn-fed Iberian pig. More flavorful than the lomo, this product is unanimously recognized as one of the jewels of Iberian gastronomy.
