Langres AOP - 180g
Langres is a soft cheese with a washed rind made from raw cow's milk. It is distinguished from other cheeses by its cylindrical shape with a cavity at its top called “Fontaine” or “Cuvette”. This cavity is explained by the fact that Langres is rarely turned, if ever, during its maturation. The deeper the fountain, the creamier and tastier the cheese.
This dairy product from the Langres plateau has a wrinkled crust with a light yellow to red brown color. Its paste is white, dense with fine grains and melts when ripe.
This cheese is an AOP product, which is a guarantee of quality.
