Producer of the famous Jamónes Ibérico de Bellota, Señorío de Montanera comes from a group of breeders who comply with the requirements of the PDO label "Dehesa de Extremadura". The hams bearing this designation are among the best hams in the world. They come from purebred Iberian pigs "pata negra" and are fed on acorns (bellota) that they find in the "dehesa", stony meadows planted with oaks where they live in freedom. This diet guarantees them a thick and tasty fat, characteristic of the 100% Ibérico Bellota ham, with a delicious hazelnut aroma. From these pigs, Señorío de Montanera also produces chorizos, lomos and paletas. Whole, diced, sliced, to make work easier in the kitchen, Señorío de Montanera offers its exceptional products in multiple forms.


This ham pure Iberian acorn-fed pork has undergone a strictly controlled process of salting (10-20 days), drying (90 days) and maturation (over 730 days).
