Grand Livarot AOP - 500g

Livarot is recognizable by its orange rind surrounded by its 5 sedges (strips of the aquatic plant) which also earn it the name "colonel".

It is a raw cow's milk cheese, with a soft, slightly salty, blond, melting texture and a washed rind. It has a strong aroma and a distinct local flavor, with floral aromas and distinct, pronounced smoked meat flavors.

This cheese is made in accordance with the Livarot PDO in the Pays d'Auge in Normandy.
