Fourme d'Ambert is a French PDO blue cheese, made in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region at altitudes between 600 and 1,600 meters, in a mountainous area. Mild and creamy, it is a must-have on any cheese board and a valuable ingredient in cooking.

Belonging to the family of blue cheeses, Fourme d'Ambert is produced in Auvergne, at altitudes between 600 and 1,600 meters, covering the Puy-de-Dôme massif, five cantons of Cantal, and eight communes of the Loire. The exceptional richness and diversity of this terroir give it a subtle and refined aroma. Holder of the AOC designation since 1972, it now benefits from the AOP designation. Its production uses exclusively milk from cows fed on the grass of this protected region.

Originating from the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, Fourme d'Ambert "L'Empereur" is a prestigious PDO cheese matured by Marcel Charrade. This product embodies excellence and respect for traditional Auvergne methods.
