AOP Époisses with whole milk - 250g

Passed down from generation to generation, Robert and Simone Berthaut revived Époisses cheese in 1956, a cheese that was once threatened. Since then, their cheese factory has perpetuated this exceptional French culinary heritage.

Originating in Burgundy five centuries ago, Époisses obtained its AOC in 1991, then its AOP in 2003.

This soft cheese, matured with Marc de Bourgogne, is made from whole milk collected from around thirty farmers in Côte d'Or, from local cattle breeds such as the Brown Swiss, the French Simmental and the Montbéliarde.
