Comté Grande Provenance is a raw cow's milk cheese, with a pressed, cooked paste with a soft and firm texture at the same time. Comté Grande Provenance 15-20 months maturing remains an exceptional cheese characterized by great aromatic diversity: it presents predominantly fruity aromas in summer, roasted with nuances of hazelnuts in winter.

Raw milk cheese with pressed, cooked pastes, without any additive or coloring, Comté is the first cheese in France to have obtained the controlled designation of origin (AOC) in 1958 and recognized AOP in 1996.
