Comté Grande Provenance is a raw cow's milk cheese with a pressed, cooked paste and a texture that is both supple and firm. Aged for 15-20 months, Comté Grande Provenance remains an exceptional cheese characterized by a wide range of aromas: it displays predominantly fruity notes in summer, and roasted aromas with hints of hazelnut in winter.
Made from raw milk with a cooked pressed paste, without any additives or coloring, Comté was the first cheese to obtain the controlled designation of origin (AOC) in France in 1958 and recognized as AOP in 1996.
Comté Grande Provenance, aged 15-20 months, offers a beautifully creamy texture and a long, powerful, and refined aromatic profile. You'll perceive toasted almonds, melted butter, spices, and citrus... a festival of aromas.
Patiently matured, it allows the full potential of the flavors transmitted by its mountain terroir to explode.
