Comté Grande Provenance is a raw cow's milk cheese, with a cooked pressed paste and a soft yet firm texture. Comté Grande Provenance, aged for 15-20 months, remains an exceptional cheese characterized by a wide variety of aromas: it has predominantly fruity aromas in summer, roasted with hints of hazelnut in winter.
A raw milk cheese with cooked, pressed paste, without any additives or colorings, Comté was the first cheese in France to obtain the controlled designation of origin (AOC) in 1958 and to be recognized as an AOP in 1996.
Comté Grande Provenance, aged 15-20 months, offers a beautifully creamy texture and a long-lasting, powerful, and refined aromatic combination. You'll notice toasted almonds, melted butter, spices, and citrus fruits—a feast of aromas.
Patiently refined, it lets the full potential of the flavors transmitted by its mountain terroir explode.
