Cervelas from Alsace 10x±150g

Alsatian cervelas is smaller than the meat sausage (Fleischwurst). Its composition is the same, but the ways of eating it are a little more varied.

Cervelas can be enjoyed cold as an appetizer or as a starter in a salad with Gruyère cheese and a good Alsatian vinaigrette. Alternatively, it can be served hot, pan-fried and wrapped in smoked country bacon, then filled with a generous slice of Gruyère or Emmental cheese. A few minutes in the pan or oven will crisp the bacon, infusing the Cervelas with rich, smoky flavor and melting the cheese.

Pair it all with an Alsatian craft beer or a local white wine and you're in Alsace.
