Timur berries - 90g

Harvested in Nepal, Timut pepper or Timur berry (Zanthoxylum Armatum), is a very close cousin of Sichuan pepper (Zanthoxylum Piperitum), of smaller size. Nicknamed “grapefruit pepper”, it develops surprising flavors of citrus fruits and more particularly of pink grapefruit with a hint of lemony floral. Its flavor is subtly fruity and flowery, with a slight spiciness, a nice length on the fresh and slightly tangy palate. A perfect pairing for SEA products, but also red meats, sautéed vegetables, eggs and even fruity desserts.
