Cheese made from raw cow's milk, it is the tastiest of Swiss cheeses. Made in the Swiss Alps for over 700 years, it develops the floral and nutty pre-Alpine aromas.
Matured for 8 months for the Extra wheels, it is brushed 3 times a week with a brine with subtly measured floral essences, the recipe of which is kept secret.
Appenzeller Extra has a smooth and sustained taste that lingers in the mouth for a long time, amplified by the texture of a firm, creamy dough, revealing countless fruity flavors.
All our fresh products are sent in specially designed insulated packages including cooling gels to keep them cool throughout the journey.
