Benefiting from a PDO, Espelette pepper is produced, processed, and packaged in an area limited to 10 municipalities. This variety of pepper, from a farm selection, is grown exclusively in open fields and without phytosanitary treatment.
Used like pepper or mustard, Espelette pepper adds a touch of spice without being spicy and adds a touch of color to dishes. In the kitchen and at home, it can be used on red or white meats, fish, vegetables, eggs, or mashed potatoes.
